Omega Power Ministries Worldwide has reopened its free restaurant in Port Harcourt, Rivers State to help feed the less privileged following the stay at home order declared by the government to curtail the spread of COVID-19.
A statement issued on Tuesday by Pastor Isaiah Gogo-Ogute, Public Relations Officer of OPM, quoted Apostle Chibuzor Chinyere, the General Overseer of the church, as saying that the move was to serve as palliative during the lockdown.
Chinyere said the gesture was also to support the efforts of government in curtailing the spread of the Coronavirus Disease pandemic, which is ravaging many countries.
The statement quoted Chinyere as saying that the free restaurant would serve takeaway food to the less privileged people in Port Harcourt and its environs during the lockdown.
