An Iyaganku Magistrates’ Court, Ibadan in Oyo State has ordered the remand of two persons: Seyi Diekola and Shiwe Ese, in a correctional facility over an alleged murder.
The suspects, whose addresses were not provided before the court, were charged with conspiracy and murder at their arraignment on Tuesday.
The Magistrate, Olasinmibo Sanusi-Zubair, did not take the plea of the defendants for want of jurisdiction.
Sanusi-Zubair directed the police to return the case file to the Director of Public Prosecutions for legal advice.
She thereafter adjourned the case until February 18, 2025 for mention.

The Prosecutor, Inspector Oladejo Balogun, told the court that the defendants committed the offences on November 21, 2024 at about 8pm in the Akanran area of Ibadan.
Balogun said the defendants conspired to unlawfully cause the death of one Kazeem Amzat by shooting him on the head.
He said the offences contravened Sections 516 and 319 of the Criminal Laws of Oyo State, 2000.
