Olamokun said the offences were punishable under Sections 97 and 221 of the Penal Code.
The prosecutor told the court that the accused attacked the deceased with cutlasses on February 13, resulting in his death.
Olamokun said the incident happened when the deceased was returning from a farm at Kabba-Owode Village in Ifelodun Local Government Area of Kwara State.
The other accused persons, she said, were Lukman Owolabi, Lateef kareem, Rasaki Salam, Shittu Saidi, Idris Omoowo, Saheed Balogun and Lateef Salami, all of Kabba-Owode.
Olamokun said the accused attacked the deceased over his alleged refusal to vacate the land he was using to farm.
He urged the court to remand the suspects in prison custody pending the outcome of police investigation.
The accused, however, pleaded not guilty to the charges against them.
Magistrate Mariam Salahu, who ordered the accused to be remanded in Okekura Prison Yard, Ilorin, adjourned the case till March 17 for mention.
