Coronation Group Limited has announced its much-anticipated 2024 Art Gallery Exhibition.
The event, according to a statement, is set to take place on September 19th, 2024, at the Coronation Art Gallery.
The statement added that this year’s edition will shine a spotlight on the contributions of women in the art world, with the works of over 10 distinguished female collectors being showcased.
The exhibition is aligned with Coronation’s sustainability agenda, particularly focusing on gender inclusivity in the arts, and is a clear demonstration of the company’s commitment to promoting UN Sustainable Development Goal 4, which aims to ensure inclusive and equitable education for all. By providing a platform for female collectors, Coronation is fostering dialogue on the role of women in the art space and advancing gender representation in creative industries. This initiative is part of the Group’s broader drive to promote responsible cultural practices through its sustainability framework.
Coronation Group’s belief in the intrinsic link between art and access to wealth is reflected in this year’s exhibition. The Coronation Art Gallery initiative seeks to democratize art by making cultural treasures accessible to a broader audience. The exhibition will not only display impressive collections but also promote the idea that art should be a shared cultural and economic asset, available to all, not just a select few.
