Brazil have sacked manager Dunga after a disappointing Copa America campaign.
The Selecao crashed out of the competition in the group stage after a defeat to Peru on the weekend.
The loss was mired in controversy, with the Peruvians’ winner appearing to come off Raul Ruidiaz’s arm when a draw would have seen Brazil through to the knockout rounds.
This is the second time that the former midfielder has been removed from the position, having been sacked after reaching the quarter-finals of the World Cup in 2010.
Overall, Dunga’s record as manager in his second stint was 12 wins, one draw, and one loss, but he failed to impress in either Copa America campaign he led.
