Ahead of the Peoples Democratic Party state congresses slated for November 13, its stakeholders in Adamawa State on Tuesday agreed to zone the party offices according to senatorial districts.
The stakeholders agreed on the zoning formula in Yola, after a meeting with the party’s caretaker committee.
The Spokesman of the stakeholders, Sam Zadock, who briefed newsmen after the meeting, said the position of State Chairman had been zoned to the Southern Senatorial District.
Other positions zoned to the south included Publicity Secretary, Assistant Legal Adviser, Assistant Organizing Secretary, Financial Secretary and Assistant Treasurer.
Zadock said the Central Senatorial District would produce Secretary, Auditor, Youth Leader, Assistant Publicity Secretary and Legal Adviser.
According to him, the Northern Senatorial District will produce Deputy Chairman, Organizing Secretary, Assistant Auditor, Treasurer and Women Leader.
Zadock added that each zone would also produce two ex-officio members, one of who must be a woman.
