A 41-man Heartland FC delegation will storm Dolisie, Republic of Congo, on Saturday for the second leg tie against AC Leopard of Congo for the CAF Confederation Cup campaign.
The Nigerian representatives already hold a 3-2 win advantage after the first leg encounter at the Dan Anyiam Stadium in Owerri a fortnight.
Information from the Heartland media department, said the delegation, which will be led by Imo State Commissioner for Sports, includes 18 players, five coaches, two medics, seven club officials, including the General Manager, Chief Fan Ndubuoke, and two accompanying journalists.
Others are two representatives of the Nigeria Football Federation, a representative of the Imo State Football Federation and four supporters.
According to the team’s itinerary, Heartland will depart Owerri on Friday for Lagos, where they will jet out the following day on an Air Nigeria flight, which will first take them to Cotonou in Benin Republic before proceeding to Brazzaville, the capital of Congo.
Once in Brazzaville, the team will take a connecting flight to Dolisie where the match will hold on Sunday.
Meanwhile, Chief Ephraim Chukwuemeka is designated the NFF leader of delegation for the trip.
