There was commotion on Monday when a suspected Ebola Virus Disease patient showed up at the General Hospital in Oke-Odo, Agege, Lagos State.
The suspect, a lady, was said to have been instantly chased out of the hospital by nurses on duty.
Sources in the hospital told The Eagle Online that the frail looking lady had blood oozing from her nostrils and mouth.
The discovery led to commotion in the area as the lady was told to go to the Yaba isolation centre created by the Lagos State Government for Ebola virus victims.
Owing to the alarm raised by the nurses, there was commotion in the area as traders within the vicinity scampered in different directions.
It took several hours before normalcy was restored to the area.
This was after the suspected Ebola victim had left the hospital.
However, The Eagle Online could not confirm where the lady headed.
No one in the hospital was willing to volunteer information officially to The Eagle Online as at press time.
But the incident was confirmed.
