The “Be Eva Active” campaign of Coca-Cola Nigeria, which is borne out of its vision to promote wellness and healthy living, is set to commence this year’s activity with Eva Fun Walk.
Eva Fun Walk, the community-based exercise and fitness programme, is calling on all Lagosians to come out and commit to active healthy living by taking part in the Walk of 2012, scheduled to take place by 7am at the National Stadium, Surulere, Lagos on March 24.
The event, which promises to attract thousands of Nigerians, will be the focal point for committed exercise enthusiasts and novices alike.
The walk will kick off at the National Stadium with warm up exercises, followed by a 10km walk from National Stadium passing through Costain to Eric Moore, Bode Thomas, Adeniran Ogunsanya, Alhaji Masha Road, Western Avenue, Ojuelegba and back to the National Stadium.
This year’s programme will see four city-wide walks supported by numerous community-based walks facilitated by gyms and community partners.
The total programme encourages Nigerians to stay healthy and in shape by walking, taking the first step towards developing an active, healthy lifestyle.

The Eva Fun Walk, poised to foster a healthy and active lifestyle among Nigerians, is promoted by Coca-Cola Nigeria Limited’s premium table water, Eva, and commenced in 2011.
The walk is part of the company’s ‘Live Positively’ initiative and is endorsed by the Lagos State Government.
“The campaign encourages communities to engage in regular cardiovascular exercise, as well as to build more inclusive and connected communities by socialising and discovering neighbourhoods while exercising.

The page will provide regular exercise tips and will inform residents around Lagos about upcoming Eva Fun Walks in their estates or nearby communities.
They will also be informed through radio announcements on popular radio stations.
