West Ham face a battle to keep hold of new signing Emmanuel Emenike.
Emenike remains a target for Chinese club Shanghai Shenhua.
The 28-year-old Nigerian rejected interest from the Far East before agreeing to join the Hammers on loan from Fenerbahce last month.
Shenhua are understood to have had a offer worth £5.5 million-a-year on the table for the marksman who scrapped his loan deal at UAE club Al Ain to move to England.
