Chelsea is aiming to secure Fikayo Tomori to a new deal before the end of October.
The 21-year-old has broken into the first-team scene this season.
Following a successful year-long loan at Derby under Frank Lampard, the Blues boss has called upon Tomori in west London.
Tomori’s current contract runs until 2021, meaning he has less than two years left at Chelsea.
According to Italian journalist Nicolo Schira, the Blues are now working to renew his deal up to 2024.
And his proposed new contract with Chelsea could be signed within the next few weeks.
