Chelsea, Liverpool eye Eaglets’ captain, Muhammed

Attacking midfielder, Kelechi Iheanacho, is being watched by Arsenal at this month’s U-17 World Cup while Muhammed is also being scouted by Chelsea and Liverpool

Golden Eaglets’ skipper, Musa Mohammed, and other Nigerian players at the ongoing Under-17 World Cup are attracting more Premier League interest.
Attacking midfielder, Kelechi Iheanacho , is being watched by Arsenal at this month’s U-17 World Cup while Muhammed is also being scouted by Chelsea and Liverpool.
Currently playing for Hearts Academy in Nigeria, Muhammed was voted man-of-the-match after the second round victory over Iran.
An official of the Golden Eaglets team hinted: “Several English clubs like Liverpool and Chelsea have asked after Musa (Mohammed). It is now just a matter of time before one of these clubs puts cash on the table for this player.”
Midfield sensation, Musa Yahaya, from the Mutunci Academy in Kaduna, who has scored four goals so far in the tournament, is reported to have interested Spanish club, Atletico Madrid.
Nicknamed Iniesta by his teammates, Yahaya, 15, operates as a playmaker.
