CHAN 2018: Eagles land in quarter-finals

Goals from Anthony Okpotu, Dayo Ojo and Rabiu Ali were all the home-based Super Eagles needed to earn a 3-1 comeback win over Equatorial Guinea in the final group game at the ongoing African Nations Championship in Algeria.

The forward’s diving header connected Osas Okoro’s cross from the right flank.
Dayo Ojo’s 20-yard strikes increased the tally for Nigeria in the 68th minute before Rabiu Alli converted a penalty to put score at 3-1.
At Grand Stade de Tanger, Libya pipped Rwanda by a lone goal to qualify for the last eight along with Nigeria.
