Probably realising the gravity of the danger that these recent developments are posing to our world especially considering situations in Syria, Iraq and other parts of the Arab world, President Barack Obama of the United States of America recently sought an alliance with some Arab leaders towards eliminating the emerging challenges from the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria a group that has already occupied some large territories of those beleaguered countries

While engaging in regional advocacy activities in the South Eastern States not too long ago, two major human rights issues confronted us and these are the sudden unprecedented re-emergence of illegal police check-points and the rapidly declining and shrinking democratic space in the run up to next year’s elections which is only few months away.

Other places targeted include the Pentagon and White House.

Writing on a subject or title like This Life is like attempting to put the vast ocean into a tea cup… This life is so vast and so encompassing that no piece of article as the one I am embarking upon now will suffice. But I have decided that I will be taking you my reader on a walk and along the way we shall be talking about This Life!
