The Confederation of African Football on Monday released fixtures for its 2013 Inter-Club Competitions,
Four Nigerian clubs, namely Kano Pillars, Rangers International, Lobi Stars and Heartland of Owerri are scheduled to participate.
In the draws for the 17th edition of the Orange/CAF Champions League, it was a relatively easy draws for both Kano Pillars and Rangers Internationals.
Rangers will battle relatively known S C do Principe of Sao Tome and Principe while Kano Pillars will engage de Bangui in the preliminary scheduled to hold on the weekend of February 15th, 16th and 17th while the return leg game will take place on the weekend of March 1st, 2nd and 3rd 2013. Nigerian teams will play home first.
In the Orange/CAF Confederation Cup, Lobi Stars and Heartland drew bye in the preliminary stage.
The Makurdi side will battle the winner of the two-leg affair between Gabrone of Botsawna and Muculmana of Mozambique Heartland will also play the winner between DD Guadalupe of Sao Tome and Principe US Batam of Gabon in the first round.
Also drawn bye in the premilinary are U.S.M. (Algeria), Atletico Petroleos (Angola), Asec (Côte d’Ivoire), Enppi (Egypt), Ismaily (Egypt), ASFAR (Morocco), WAC (Morocco), DCMP (RD Congo), El Ahly Shandy (Sudan), C.S.S. (Tunisia) and E.S.S. (Tunisia).
