Enyimba will depart Lagos on Friday for Ivory Coast where they will take on Williamsville in Sunday’s CAF Confederation Cup match day four group fixture.
Enyimba, CAF Champions League winners in 2003 and 2004, are currently top of the group standings with six points following a hard fought 1-0 win over the Ivorian side in Port Harcourt, Rivers State on July 18.
A contingent of the People’s Elephant arrived Lagos on Thursday and are billed to fly out on Friday.
Coach Usman Abdalla will be in charge after succeeding Paul Aigbogun at Enyimba.
Aigbogun quit the club over tight managerial schedules, saying it was extremely difficult combining Enyimba job with that of the junior national team, Flying Eagles.
The CAF Confederation Cup is the only continental silverware missing in Enyimba’s trophy cabinet.
Midfielder Ikechukwu Ibenegbu did not make the trip over a recurring knee injury.
