The Lagos State Police Command on Thursday said no route will be closed to traffic during the two-day visit of President Muhammadu Buhari’s visit to Lagos State.
Buhari is due to visit Lagos on Thursday and Friday, raising fears of road lockdown.
But a statement by the spokesman of the Lagos State Police Command, SP Chike Oti, on Thursday said there should be no fear of traffic or road closure during Buhari’s visit.
The police said members of the public should go about their lawful business as all routes are open to both human and vehicle traffic .
Oti added: “The Command hereby are assures Lagosians of adequate security and easy flow of traffic during and after the visit of Mr. President.”
