Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo, on Wednesday said President Muhammadu Buhari is passionate about the growth and development of every sector of the country.
Osinbajo made the remarks during his visit to the palace of the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi, in Ile-Ife.
The vice-president said that the President had been trying his best to make the country develop in all aspects.
He said: “Everybody knows that Buhari is good, kind, diligent, trustworthy, faithful and incorruptible, instead for him to embezzle, he generates fund and fights corruption across the country.
“Any country that will progress, requires good leadership like that of Buhari.”
He, however, pledged that the Federal Government would not relent in its efforts to rehabilitate and construct good roads, provide portable water and employment for the youth.
Osinbajo also said that government would complete all ongoing projects in the state and all other parts of the country.
He commended the Ooni for his support to the federal government and his fatherly role in the country.
In his remarks, the Ooni urged all Nigerians to be united for the development of the country.
He urged youths to emulate Osinbajo, who had been a good ambassador of the Yoruba nation in the country.
The News Agency of Nigeria reports that Osinbajo toured the ancient Ondo city and Modakeke in continuation of the All Progressives Congress House-to-House Campaign for the forthcoming general election.
