President Muhammadu Buhari has extended his best wishes to Oba Adedapo Tejuoso, the Osile of Oke Ona Egbaland, on his 81st birthday.
According to a statement issued in Abuja on Tuesday by the President’s Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina, Buhari joins Tejuoso’s family, friends and well-wishers in thanking God for preserving the life of the monarch.
The president saluted Tejuoso, who had been on the throne of his ancestors for three decades, for his tremendous efforts and contributions to the advancement of his community and the nation.
He particularly lauded the monarch’s passion to help the downtrodden and the underprivileged in the society.
According to him, as a successful businessman and traditional ruler, the monarch’s lifetime of positive achievements remain an inspiration to many Nigerians on the values of hard work, perseverance, service to community and humanity.
The president wished the octogenarian good health and happiness and prayed almighty God to grant him more years to celebrate a stable and prosperous Nigeria.
