President Muhammadu Buhari has congratulated the Lagos State Commissioner for the Environment and Water Resources, Tunji Bello, as he turns 60 on July 1, 2021.
The President applauded Bello, who he described as an accomplished journalist, political scientist, lawyer and public administrator, adding that he has shown that through dint of hard work and the grace of God, the door of success remains wide open.
Buhari enjoined the younger generation to draw inspiration from Bello, who, from being a Reporter with the then Concord Press, rose to become Politics Editor, Editor, Sunday Concord and Editor National Concord.
“Bello also served as chairman Editorial Board at Thisday, and thereafter as Commissioner for the Environment in Lagos State, Secretary to the State Government, and now Commissioner for the Environment and Water Resources,” the President noted in a statement by his spokesman, Femi Adesina.
President Buhari equally felicitated with the media family, legal profession as well as Bello’s family and friends, wishing him longer life and greater service to God and humanity.
