A video of the Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission, Prof Mahmood Yakubu, speaking on the use of electronic transmission of results was on Tuesday played at the Presidential Election Petitions Tribunal in Abuja.
Yakubu in the video explained by the results of the last general election could not be transmitted electronically.
This runs contrary to the position of the Peoples Democratic Party and its presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, that the results of the elections were transmitted electronically.
The lawyer to President Muhammadu Buhari, Alex Izinyon (SAN), played the video, which was admitted as Exhibit P85.
