As reported earlier in the day by The Eagle Online, the National Leader of the All Progressives Congress, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has returned to Nigeria from the United Kingdom.
Tinubu had nine days ago departed for the UK, with a source hinting The Eagle Online on Sunday he was headed back to Nigeria.
Sources said the aircraft that brought the former Lagos State Governor back to Nigeria landed at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos at about 8pm.
The spokesman of the APC Leader, Alhaji Tunde Rahman, confirmed the arrival of his boss.
Tinubu, according to Rahman, will continue his consultation at home on his ambition to rule Nigeria from 2023.
He had gone to the UK where he met with members of the UK chapter of the APC on his presidential ambition.
