The Supreme Court on Tuesday declared Seriake Dickson as the governor of Bayelsa State.
The highest court in the land in affirming Dickson as the validly elected governor of Bayelsa State, dismissed the petition of his challenger, Timipre Sylva.
Sylva, the candidate of the All Progressives Congress for the election, had earlier lost at the Bayelsa State Elections Petitions Tribunal and the Court of Appeal.
Dickson was the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party for the election.
