The Senior Special Assistant on Security Matters to Governor Udom Emmanuel, Captain Iniobong Ekong (retd), has been arrested by operatives of the Nigerian Army.
The SSA was said to have been picked on Friday night.
The soldiers who arrested Ekong were said to be from 6 Division of the Nigerian Army on the orders of Major General Jamiln Sarham.
A former Governor of the State and now Senator, Godswill Akpabio, was alleged to have written a petition against Ekong to the Nigerian Army.
