The screening of the Acting Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, Ibrahim Magu, by the Senate is taking place behind closed door.
This is against the norm where nominees are screened in the open chamber.
Magu, who was recommended to the Senate by the Presidency for confirmation about six months ago, has had the screening delayed and then postponed twice.
Just on Thursday morning, the Leader of the Senate, Ali Ndume, and Senator Dino Melaye came close to trading punches over the issue.
