The Senate has scheduled the confirmation of Lauretta Onochie and others as Commissioners of the Independent National Electoral Commission.
The Senate will debate the issue at plenary on Tuesday (today), scheduled to commence at 11am.
The Senate will also consider the report on the Electoral Offence Commission Bill today, according to the Order Paper obtained by The Eagle Online.
Onochie, was screened by the Senate Committee on INEC last week despite public outcry against her nomination.
She once sought public office on the platform of the All Progressives Congress.
She, however, told the Senate she has since ceased to be a member of the APC, but only serving as one of the spokespersons of President Muhammadu Buhari.
