The Senate on Tuesday kicked against the request of President Muhammadu Buhari to obtain a loan of $29.96 billion.
Buhari had last week written to the National Assembly proposing to borrow the money to meet some of the proposals in this year’s budget and up till 2018.
It would have been for the execution of some infrastructural projects.
But the Senate at plenary on Tuesday refused the request.
