Contrary to the information given on Wednesday, the Senate on Thursday failed to screen the Acting Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, Ibrahim Magu.
Magu was due for screening for the confirmation of his appointment as the substantive chairman of the EFCC.
A letter to that effect was forwarded by the Presidency to the Senate six months ago.
However on Thursday despite the presence of Magu in the Senate, he was not screened.
The Eagle Online learnt that his screening was not on the Order Paper for the day.
As at preas time, Magu had left the National Assembly.
