The vice presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, Peter Obi, has complained about his harassment and those of other PDP chieftains in Anambra State between Friday night and Saturday morning when voting opened by security agents.
Obi said this when he and his wife voted in the ongoing Presidential and National Assembly elections on Saturday morning.
Obi, who had to correct staff of the Independent National Electoral Commission on the placement of boxes and wrong attachment of colour covers to the boxes for the three different elections taking place on Saturday, told newsmen after voting that he could confirm that he was harassed alongside other chieftains of the party.
When asked if this could spell problem for the PDP, he said: “It will spell problem for the country.
“Not just the PDP.
“This is an election.
“Not war.”
