The Lagos State Governor, Akinwunmi Ambode, has accused the only other aspirant for the governorship ticket of the All Progressives Congress in Lagos State, Babajide Sanwoolu, of being a criminal.
Ambode said this on Sunday when he briefed newsmen on Monday’s governorship primaries of the APC in Lagos.
He alleged that Sanwoolu had been caught spending fake American Dollars in a night club.
He equally said the former Commissioner in Lagos State has had to go for rehabilitation before, adding: “The records are there.
“The candidate pitched against me is not qualified.”
Ambode said the opposition will easily take out any other candidate apart from him because of lack of credibility, adding: “We are committed to the outcome of the primaries.”
