The dethroned Emir of Kano, Muhammadu Sanusi II, has been moved from his location in Loko, Nasarawa State.
This was contained in a report on Lagos-based television station, Television Continental, on Tuesday.
Sanusi had in the early hours of Tuesday arrived in Loko to begin life in exile after his dethronement by the Kano State Government under Governor Abdullahi Ganduje.
He was said to have arrived in Loko at 3am.
Alhaji Abubakar Ahmed Sabo, the traditional ruler of Loko, who confirmed the development, said Sanusi arrived his palace “around 3am on March 10”.
The first class traditional ruler, however, said the press would not be allowed to interview the dethroned Emir.
He said: “Yes, Emir Sanusi is in my palace.
“He arrived this morning around 3am, but no one will be allowed to speak with him.”
However, TVC is reporting that Sanusi has been moved by helicopter to a yet to be confirmed location.
The movement was said to have been amid tight security.
