The Lagos State Police Command on Friday announced the restriction of movement for a rerun election holding on Saturday.
The election is for Ajeromi/Ifelodun Federal Constituency.
According to a statement by the spokesman of the Command, DSP Bala Elkana, the restriction of movement will be from 6am to 3pm.
Areas to be affected include Ajengule, Layeni, Amukoko, Ijora Badia, Trinity and Tolu.
Elkana said violators of the restriction order will be arrested and prosecuted.
He added: “Registered voters are assured of their safety during the rerun election as the Command has deployed adequate number of personnel.
