Breaking: Pinnick emerges CAF Executive member 

The President of the Nigeria Football Federation, Amaju Pinnick, has emerged an executive member of Confederation of African Football.
Pinnick defeated Benin Republic’s Anjorin Moucharafou with 32 to 17 votes for the West Zone B of the board. 

The Nigerian’s term in CAF will laspe in 2021.

Earlier in the day, Ahmad Ahmad from Madagascar was voted in as the new President of the continental body, as he ousted Issa Hayatou of Cameroon with 34 to 20 vote at the CAF Extraordinary Congress in Addis Abba, Ethiopia.
