Part of the Lagos-Abeokuta Expressway has been shut down.
The closure became effective on Tuesday night and will last till Wednesday evening.
According to available information, the main carriage way from the Airport U-Turn all through Ikeja Along and also Ajayi Farm up to Ile-Zik will be condoned off to traffic from 10pm on Tuesday night till Wednesday evening.
The information said traffic will be diverted into the BRT corridor through Ikeja Along to link Ile-Zik.
The vehicular movement from Bolade-Oshodi through Ladipo into BRT corridor as a result of the diversion at that end still stands.
The statement said there is and will continue to be mass movement within the BRT corridor at this period.
Lagosians were advised to tune in to Lagos Traffic Radio 96.1FM for more details and travel advisories.
