The National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, Adams Oshiomhole, has returned to Nigeria from the United States of America, The Eagle Online is reporting.
Oshiomhole’s trip to the US had elicited interest following his quizzing by operatives of the Department of State Services for two consecutive days before his departure.
He was said to have been quizzed based on petitions regarding the primaries of the party in several states of the country.
Petitions were said to have been received from Imo, Kaduna and Zamfara States among others.
Owing to this, there were insinuations in some quarters that he had fled the country for good.
The opposition Peoples Democratic Party called on the DSS, Nigeria Police and International Police to ensure that Oshiomhole does not escape justice.
As at press time, Oshiomhole, who landed at the Murtala Mohammed International Airport in Lagos on Friday evening, was still in the state.
Sources within the party told The Eagle Online that the National Chairman will be making some media appearances on Saturday to speak on the several allegations against him.
