The presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, Atiku Abubakar, has won the first of the nine outstanding states in the presidential election to be declared by the Independent National Electoral Commission on its resumption from break.
Abubakar polled 295,737 votes to defeat the incumbent and candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Muhammadu Buhari in the result from Cross River State.
Buhari scored 117,302 votes.
There are still eight results to be announced.
