Workers of the Embassy of Nigeria in Washington, United States of America have gone on strike, online news platform, Per Second News, is reporting.
According to the authoritative online newspaper, which is based in the US, the strike commenced on Tuesday.
This has led to the grounding of activities at the Embassy.
According to the newspaper, the workers are being owed five months salary.
The workers are also complaining about their working conditions.
The Nigerian flag in front of the building is said to be tattered.
One of them told Per Second News: “We are being owed for the past five months.”
They have threatened to report Nigerian to the US Labour Department.
Per Second News put the number of workers at between 50 and 100.
