Reports reaching The Eagle Online has it that the Ondo State Deputy Governor, Alhaji Alli Olanusi, has been removed from office by the state House of Assembly.
Olanusi was confronted with various allegations by the House of Assembly, which mandated the Chief Judge of the state to set up a seven-man panel to probe the deputy governor.
The panel, set up last week, found Olanusi guilty.
It pronounced him guilty on Friday.
This provided the grounds for the sacking from office of Olanusi by the House of Assembly on Monday.
Among allegations levelled against him were financial misconduct and absence from duty.
More details soon.
