The Code of Conduct Tribunal has adjourned the trial of the Chief Justice of Nigeria, Walter Onnoghen, till January 22, 2019.
Onnoghen is facing trial over false assets deceleration of domiciliary account and money laundering.
The CJN, who was absent in the court when the matter came up on Monday, was repressed by 45 Senior Advocate of Nigeria, led by Wole Olanipekun.
He is facing a six court charge in the Code of Conduct Tribunal chaired Danlandi Umar.
Before the adjournment, there was serious argument between Olanipekun and the CCT over the date for the adjournment.
