Gunmen on Tuesday night attacked the farmhouse of the Acting Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, Ibrahim Magu, killing a policeman, The Nation is reporting.
The highly authoritative newspaper said it learnt the gunmen stormed the house in Karshi, Federal Capital Territory, Abuja at about 10pm.
During the exchange of gunfire, one of the policemen on duty was reportedly hit, dying on the spot.
He was said to be of the rank of Sergeant.
It is the second time the house will be attacked.
