The Kogi State Governor, Yahaya Bello, has again survived another petition at the Kogi State Governorship Election Petitions Tribunal.
This time it was the petition by his predecessor, Captain Idris Wada, seeking to nullify the election that brought him into office.
Wada was the incumbent and candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party for the election.
On Monday, the Tribunal had dismissed a similar petition brought against Bello by Hon. James Faleke.
Faleke, the running mate to the initial candidate of the All Progressives Congress for the election, late Abubakar Audu, had sought the order of the court to declare him as the party’s candidate for the election.
Bello came into office on the platform of the APC.
