A fuel laden tanker has exploded on the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway, The Eagle Online is reporting.
According to information available to The Eagle Online, the tanker caught fire at about 7:10pm.
The incident occurred just opposite the OPIC building in Isheri, Ogun State on the Lagos outbound lane of the expressway.
This has resulted in traffic on both ends of the expressway, with many abandoning their vehicles and fleeing to safety.
