Nigeria’s former Minister of Commerce and Industry, Jubril Martins-Kuye, is dead.

Sources told The Eagle Online that the staunch Peoples Democratic Party chieftain died in Lagos State in the early hours of Sunday.

Sources said he had been indisposed for some time.

The sources equally told The Eagle Online that his remains will be committed to the earth at 4pm on Sunday (today) in his home in Ago-Iwoye, Ogun State.

The home is referred to as JMK Compound in Ago-Iwoye.

Martins-Kuye was born on August 16, 1942.

He was appointed Minister of Commerce and Industry on April 6, 2010 by Acting President Goodluck Jonathan.
