The presidential candidate of the African Action Alliance and Publisher of Sahara Reporters, Omoyele Sowore, has been dragged to court by the Department of State Services.
Sowore was taken to court on Monday morning after last week’s ruling by Justice Taiwo Taiwo of a Federal High Court in Abuja granting him bail.
The DSS said the gravity of Sowore’s offence does not entitle him to bail and has threatened to report Justice Taiwo to the National Judicial Council.
Sowore, lead organiser of the #RevolutuionNow, is to be arraigned on charges of treason and money maundering.
