Osun state has recorded six new cases of Coronavirus Disease.
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control made this known on its Twitter handle on Friday.
With this, Nigeria now has 190 confirmed cases of #COVID19.
Twenty of the cases have been discharged with two deaths.
Osun State, which has since declared a total lockdown, as announced by Governor Gboyega Oyetola, now has 20 confirmed COVID-19 cases.
All the cases are among the 127 returnees from Abidjan, Cote d’Ivoire, who are from the state.
A member of the House of Representatives from the State, Bamidele Salam, has, however, raised the alarm that there could be a lot more to fear as the returnees, against advice, had been hosting their relatives in the dead of the night.
