The Independent National Electoral Commission has begun the official declaration of Saturday’s presidential election results.
The first four states declared by INEC were Kwara, Ekiti Nasarawa and Osun States.
So also was the result for the Federal Capital Territory declared.
The exercise is being supervised by the Chairman of INEC, Prof. Mahmood Yakubu.
President Muhammadu Buhari of the All Progressives Congress is leading, while the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, Atiku Abubakar, comes in second.
While Buhari won in Kwara, Ekiti, Nasarawa and Osun State, Abubakar took the FCT.
