The presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, Atiku Abubakar, recorded a massive win over President Muhammadu Buhari, the flag bearer of the All Progressives Congress in Saturday’s election in Abia State.
In the final result announced by the Independent National Electoral Commission in Abuja, Abubakar was recorded to have garnered 219,698 votes, while Buhari won a paltry 85,058 votes.
The announcement of the result was still in progress as at the time of filing this report.
