The National Working Committee of the All Progressives Congress has cleared eight aspirants for the governorship primaries of the party in Kwara State.
This was announced by the Acting National Publicity Secretary of the party, Yekini Nabena, on Saturday.
Those cleared were Yakubu Gobir, Hakeem Lawal, Ishaq Modibbo Kawu, Lukman Mustapha, Prof. Oba Abdul Raheem, Alhaji A. Tajudeen, Abdullahi Shuaibu Yaman and Abdulraheem Abdul Razak.
Two other aspirants, Abdulfatai Yahaya and Mohammed Dele Belgore, were said to have voluntarily withdrew from the race.
