The residence of Hon. Abdulmumin Jibrin in Kofa town of Kano State has been set ablaze by political thugs allegedly loyal to a former Governor of the state, Senator Rabiu Kwankwaso.
The residence was set ablaze on Thursday after the attack on the convoy of Kwankwaso in Kofa village, where he had gone to campaign for Abba Yusuf, the Peoples Democratic Party governorship candidate in the state.
Jibrin, a member of the All Progressives Congress, is from Kofa village.
Many people were feared dead in the attack, which also resulted in the burning of several vehicles in Kwankwaso’s convoy.
