Again, another three-storey building has collapsed in Lagos, with many trapped under the debris.
The building, which collapsed Friday afternoon is located at Oye Sonuga Street, opposite Oye roundabout, Isolo road Mushin, a Lagos suburb.
An adult and a child have been rescued alive while rescue operations are still underway.
Rescue operations have commenced already, but as at the time of filing this report, the casualty toll is yet to be ascertained.
Meanwhile, the Lagos State Emergency Management Agency (LASEMA) has confirmed the collapse, saying: “A building has collapsed on Oye Sonuga Street, at Palm Avenue, in Mushing. Rescue Operation on going,”
Similarly, the Coordinator of National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA), Lagos Office, Ibrahim Farinloye has confirmed the incident, saying the rescue teams have commenced operations on site.
